DSWD 4Ps Spot Check 2025 of the Department of Social Welfare and Development officially kicked off in October 2025. After initiation and preliminary planning of the project, the Pilot Test for the data gathering was held on 13th to 21st November at Cagayan de Oro and Bukidnon. Review of data gathering instruments were conducted at the Mallberry Suites Business Hotel in Cagayan de Oro from 13 to 16 November.
Courtesy visits were made with participating local government units, namely, the City Government of Cagayan de Oro and Municipality of Takalag, Bukidnon. SDS’s research team led by Dr. Nimfa Montes and project coordinator, Francesca M. Sabalo, were received by City Administrator Roy Raagas and Atty. Threjann Ace Noli, CSWD Asst. Administrative Head in Cagyan deOro and by Mayor Renato S. Sulatan and Ms. Jhonalou Generalao, MSWDO inTakalag, Bukidnon.
Key informant interviews were conducted between 18 to 20November in the two pilot areas and wrapping up in the morning of 21 November.
