Capacity Building for HRD Workplace Training Planning, Design and Implementation for the Provincial Government of Northern Samar
Description of Project

This 2-component activity comprised of a 6-day live in training and a 20-day workplace coaching and provided the 26 Training Pool members and the Training Management Group of the provincial government of Northern Samar with the conceptual framework and understanding of workplace training aimed to be applied and practised in PGNS. During the 20-day workplace mentoring, the participants were able to develop: Operational Manual and a Training Pool Guidebook for the conduct and management of workplace training in the LGU; and a year implementation plan.

Services Provided
  • Managed the implementation of the 2-component  training
  • Developed the course design following an adult learning principle and workplace training objectives
  • Provided overall oversight in the conduct of the HR Activity and ensure that the workplace development objectives are achieved following the course design, particularly the detailed training timetable.
  • Arranged and managed all the logistics and administrative requirements of the training such as: transportation, food and accommodation, design and production of training materials, social programs, insurances, etc.
  • Together with the 26 participants, designed and produced the PGNS Operational Manual on Training and a 200 page Training Guidebook
