Project Poverty Impact Assessment for the JFPR-Sustainable Livelihood Project for the Poor in Southern Philippines
Description of Project

The objectives of the PPIA study is to conduct a systematic appraisal of the expected project impacts, particularly the increase in household income of the beneficiaries as a manifestation of the reduction in poverty incidence in selected 14 LGUs and to document success stories for dissemination to selected potential users.

Services Provided
  • Reviewed, validated, analyzed and consolidated available data/information that document the benefits and impact as a consequence of the project on its various stakeholders, i.e., the beneficiaries, the LGUs, NGOs, POs, and the communities;
  • Measured the extent of achievement of the project objectives and the corresponding performance indicators at various levels per project log frame, i.e. goal, purpose, and components;
  • Assessed the sustainability of the livelihood activities at the beneficiary level.
  • Documented and assessed experiences and lessons learned that can be used to enhance policy framework, development strategies, project design, operations, and inputs for JFPR (SLPPSP) and other similar projects; and,
  • Documented and compiled success stories/best practices for dissemination to selected potential users.
